I have always had a thing for lighthouses. They inspire me in such a way that I truly cannot seem to find the right words to encapsulate all that… who knows I had been a lighthouse keeper in some other distant life? The lighthouses are always there: they state solidity, resilience, and perseverance. They emanate the light that travels through the dense fogs and safety bring the navigators and the pioneers to solid land. Its edification bears the tempests and enjoys the calmness. So, the need to have an image, a name, a place to call my space of working, creating, and building a psychology major service has brought me to the trademark Farol Psicologias.

The Farol Psicologias brings together purpose, service, and importance which altogether resonates with my mission in this existence. It’s not just about knowing that my place is within the psychology field of expertise, moreover it is paramount to scrutinize my professional place aligned with the here and now we all live. It is also necessary for me to constantly comprehend not only what I reflect as a psychologist, but also to understand the range of my doing, to let my sense of mission develops itself assertively, making a good use of my time, knowledge and vocation, reaching everyone I am supposed to. If there is no alignment, there won’t be completeness either.

It states: “a space for improvement”; that is, there will always be room for further improvement, and nurtured by a psychological space. It happens through the services and products offered whose primary objectives are to foster the path to self-discovery, the education through experience and knowledge, the wellness of the full cherished life we all want to live. The Polar Star is a navigation reference to all the routes that connects the Farol and the ones who get to us. A connection built with ethics and love; science and humanities, where every and each one of us is the absolute master of its vessel – its responsibility and its own free choice. And so, it must be.

May you feel seen, inspired, and honored in our Farol / Lighthouse!
